Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic EV Charging Procurement and Partnership Manager to lead the development and optimisation of a fast-growing electric vehicle (EV) charging network. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive strategy that balances in-house and outsourced operations. By managing procurement processes and fostering strong partnerships, you will ensure the delivery of a seamless and reliable charging experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Evaluation:
* Analyse the EV charging value chain to determine the optimal mix of internal capabilities and external partnerships.
* Develop and maintain a robust outsourcing strategy to support the long-term vision for EV charging infrastructure.
Procurement Leadership:
* Lead tender processes, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations to secure the best solutions and services.
* Ensure that procurement activities align with operational, financial, and sustainability objectives.
Partnership Development:
* Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to ensure alignment on strategic goals.
* Act as a primary point of contact for partner engagement, ensuring collaborative success and accountability.
Operational Excellence:
* Design and implement a Target Operating Model (TOM) for EV charging operations, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service reliability and the overall customer experience.
Innovation and Differentiation:
* Identify and adopt cutting-edge technologies and innovative approaches to differentiate offerings in a competitive market.
* Integrate ESG principles into the EV charging strategy to align with sustainability goals.
Key Qualifications:
* Significant experience in EV infrastructure and supply chain evaluation.
* Proven track record of managing complex outsourcing strategies, including tenders and supplier negotiations.
* Strong expertise in partner management, with the ability to drive collaboration and achieve mutual goals.
* Experience designing and executing operating models within a fast-paced, agile environment.
* Familiarity with ESG principles and their application in the EV or renewables sector is highly desirable.
