Job Summary
Our Community Care Assistant role involves working closely with clients and their families to ensure that care plans are effectively implemented and that all individuals receive the highest standard of support. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to help others, with a positive mindset. Experience is desirable but not essential.
Duties
Typical Morning Shifts start at 7am - 2pm
Evening Shifts are from 4pm - 10pm
All staff work alternate weekends.
Driving is essential for this role, so you'll need a full Driving Licence, as well as your own car.

We have a fantastic team of existing carers, waiting to welcome you on board!
You'll be supporting individuals in their own homes, helping them to keep their independence. This will include:
* Meal preparation
* Administering medication
* Personal Care
* Companionship
* Light Housekeeping
Additional responsibilities include:
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other team members to provide updates and gather feedback on care services.
* Drive to various locations as required to provide support and assistance to clients in their homes or care settings.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions and care provided, using our mobile phone app.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while delivering care services.
* Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to home care practices.
* Support the community in organising events or activities that promote social engagement among clients.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in home care or a similar environment is desirable but not essential.
- A full and valid driving licence, along with your own car, is essential for traveling between client locations.
- Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is advantageous.
- A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality support to individuals in need.
