How to contribute to our vision
Do you want to be part of an industry that is striving to protect our planet from further damage? As a business administration apprentice, you will complete a level 3 qualification on a day release basis whilst working alongside a team of managers and support staff based on Alexandra dock in Hull but supporting an apprentice and technician team of over 250 operating around the world. You will work on a Hybrid basis between home & our Alexandra dock offices, and you will also need to attend our partner training locations in Hull & Immingham regularly, 1 day per week will be spent on “day release” to the apprenticeship provider. On completion of the apprenticeship and given certain criteria being met there may be the option to continue onto a higher-level qualification, or to move into a permanent position in the same team or another part of our business.
Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:
* Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of Technician apprentices
* Organising medical and fitness tests and other training
* Using and developing your IT skills to create and manage files, documents and workspace sites
* Coordination of training & placement plans for the Technician apprentices
* Meeting bookings & note taking
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for:
Logistical requirements
* Hold a full UK driving license
* Minimum qualifications Math’s and English at GCSE grade 4 or above
* Level 2 ICT is an advantage
Personal requirements
* Be an excellent communicator, able to engage at all levels
* Have good fundamental knowledge of IT systems, primarily Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
* Have the ability to operate remotely being self-motivated and disciplined
* Problem-solving skills – being methodical, thinking logically and calmly to resolve issues.
* Have a passion for renewable energy
