Nursery Assistant
Milk Education are recruiting a full-time Nursery Assistant for a lovely primary school in Chester. The successful candidate would be working within an early years class suppported by an experienced teacher. Working hours are 8:30-16:00 Monday – Friday.
Qualifications are not essential however, experience working with children within an educational setting is a must.

Nursery Assistant role & responsibilities:
* Use skills/training/experience to support pupils and enhance their learning and so progress
* Undertake programmes linked to local and national learning strategies eg. Literacy, numeracy, EYFS recording achievement and progress and feeding back to the teacher
* Prepare, maintain, and use equipment/resources required to meet the lesson plans/relevant learning activity and assist pupils in their use
* To work with small groups of children and to take responsibility for their learning
Non-negotiables:
* Previous experience of working with children aged 0-11 in a voluntary or paid capacity in the last 2 years
