Job Title: Renewals Team Leader

Job type: Full-Time, (40 hours per week)
Salary: £30,000
Job summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising customer retention and driving recurring revenue by leading a team to successfully manage and secure customer renewals, while also fostering a positive and productive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development:
1. Hire, develop, and retain top-performing renewal sales talent.
2. Lead daily activities of renewal sales professionals with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
3. Mentor and coach team members to improve their sales skills and performance.
4. Set individual and team goals and targets.
5. Provide regular feedback and performance reviews.
Renewal Strategy & Execution:
1. Develop and implement effective renewal strategies to maximize revenue and minimize churn.
2. Negotiate contract renewals and expansion proposals.
3. Monitor account performance and customer health to identify potential renewal risks and opportunities.
4. Ensure seamless contract extensions and continued customer engagement.
5. Identify and eliminate redundant activities to increase sales.
Sales Management & Administration:
1. Assign sales territories and manage the team's workload.
2. Manage the customer renewal process, ensuring timely and successful renewals.
3. Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth customer experience.
Building a High-Performance Culture:
1. Foster a positive and results-oriented team environment.
2. Motivate and inspire the team to achieve their goals.
3. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

7. Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
Essential Experience: Proven experience (minimum of 2 years) in a similar role, with a strong understanding of renewals or subscription strategies.
1. Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing and motivating teams to achieve operational targets.
2. Systems: Experience of working with Salesforce, VoIP portal, or similar sales systems.
Desirable Experience: Previous experience of working in a telecommunications or similar environment would be advantageous.
