Domestic Assistant
Location: Exning Court, Cotton End Road, Exning, CB8 7PF
Salary: £11.44 per hour
Hours: 5 hours per week
Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Domestic Assistant at Exning Court. We specialise in delivering a wide range of personalised housing, care, and support services to help people across England to live as independently as possible.
The role of Domestic Assistant will include:
* Undertaking general duties as assigned, such as maintaining the cleanliness of all communal areas, offices, and the kitchen
* Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard
* Identifying and reporting potential faults and hazards on site, to maintain a safe environment
* Maintaining stock levels, restocking as required and ensuring equipment is used in line with guidance notes
* Helping to prepare meals and drinks, following food hygiene standards, and ensuring the needs of our customers are met
* Ensuring customers’ privacy and dignity are maintained and respected
Skills and experiences:
* Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is desirable
* Some experience of working in a domestic/catering environment
* Level 2 diploma in housekeeping/catering, or willing to work towards
* Good interpersonal and customer service skills
* A general understanding of health and safety in the workplace
