Job Title : Pharmacist Technician Location : S outhend, Essex Banding: Band 6 Start: ASAP Duration: 3 months Rate : £ 3 6 per hour Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37,5 hours per week We are looking for a skilled and motivated Band 6 Pharmacy Technician to join our client's team in Southend-On-Sea. This role involves providing essential pharmaceutical services to our patients, with a focus on the Urgent and Emergency Care Pathway. The successful candidate will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications in urgent and emergency situations. What will your responsibilities be : The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, managing medication inventories, and providing support during medication administration. This role includes conducting medication reconciliation, assisting in the development of treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. The technician will collaborate with the emergency care team to provide timely pharmaceutical care and support to patients in urgent and emergency scenarios. Qualifications and Experiences: Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and regulations Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and electronic health records Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in pharmacy practice How to apply?
