What you’ll be doing: We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Democratic Services Officer to service and provide procedural guidance at a range of Committees and other elected Member bodies as allocated. You will assist in the provision of support services to Members and undertake and/or co-ordinate section/departmental/corporate tasks as allocated. You will support officers across the council and team members in relation to democratic service matters and projects. Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1st April each year, subject to six months service in the post, until the maximum spinal column point of the level has been reached. The payment of annual increments is not automatic and is subject to satisfactory performance as assessed by your Director.
