Here at Serco, we are looking for an Business Support Apprentice team to join us working within the team delivering the Restart Scheme. You’ll provide administrative and organisational support to the team as well as providing support to Restart participants and the Employers they work with via telephone, email, and face to face.
As our new Business Support Apprentice, you will be required to undertake a number of tasks within the department. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who has a willingness to learn and develop their administrative skills.
Day to day you’ll be involved in:
- Processing of key referral, programme start and payment data via the PRaP system
- Transfer of data between Serco systems and PRaP while maintaining data integrity
- Identification, investigation and resolution of data processing errors, escalating to the Data Team Leader where necessary.
- Completion of quality and compliance testing on key programme milestones and evidence to support contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Support the wider Quality and Compliance Team in maintaining contract compliance by ensuring accuracy of data submission within contractual timeframes
What you need to do the Apprenticeship?
Essential
- 5 GCSE (A-C)
- Good IT skills with particular emphasis on MS Excel and MS Office 365 software
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across a number of work streams
- Confident to communicate through a variety of media with internal and external stakeholders
- Use own initiative and work independently
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to work
Desirable
- Understanding of DWP/welfare to work market environment
- Experience of working in a compliance environment ideally within the Employability sector
- Experience of CRM based systems
