EPR Technical Project Manager
Location: Norwich (Hybrid, 2–3 days onsite per week)
Contract: Full-time, Inside IR35, 3–6 months (until March 2025, poss later)
Rate: NHS Band 8a - £243 per day via a direct engagement model
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an EPR Technical Project Manager to join an NHS organization. This role will focus on the implementation of a cutting-edge integrated Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system across multiple Trusts, with a key responsibility for the technical or data and analytics workstreams. You'll oversee complex sub-projects in areas such as systems infrastructure, data migration, and security, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead assigned EPR workstreams, ensuring technical readiness or data preparation for migration into the new EPR system.
* Develop, monitor, and update project plans, providing governance and escalation where needed.
* Collaborate with technical, clinical, and operational leads to deliver solutions meeting Trust requirements.
* Analyze complex data, manage risks, and generate comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
* Support procurement processes for digital systems and ensure contract compliance.
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience in NHS project/program management, including EPR systems or IT transformation.
* Accredited project management qualifications (e.g., Prince2, APM).
* Expertise in ITIL best practices and familiarity with digital healthcare solutions.
* Strong knowledge of data management, infrastructure, and system security.
