Respiratory Account Specialist Region: East Midlands Competitive Salary & Benefits Join our team as a Respiratory Account Specialist (RAS), where your main objective is to sell the company's inhaled respiratory brands to key secondary care customers while upholding the highest ethical standards. You will work diligently to improve opportunities for practice change at scale, always acting with integrity and professionalism. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to build positive relationships with customers and healthcare professionals, provide outstanding customer service, and drive sales growth through innovative marketing strategies. You will be committed to advancing the respiratory health of patients through the promotion of AstraZeneca's high-quality products and services. Accountabilities: As a RAS, you will engage with key hospital stakeholders to expand sales volume and share through clinical and business-to-business selling. You will generate customer insights and create account plans to increase the number of patients on AZ brands. You will also work with cross-functional teams and AZ customers to identify and deliver opportunities for practice change at a population level. Additionally, you will develop and drive advocacy, clinical consensus, and support RHMs on enhancing market access for the brand/s. Essential Skills/Experience: Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills Successful sales experience, including primary and secondary both F2F and via virtual platforms Hospital account working – proven track record of successful hospital selling Experience of hospital formulary and ICB guideline processes. Advocacy development and mobilisation experience Stakeholder and influencer mapping Strategic thinking and business planning Cross functional working with internal and external stakeholders High emotional intelligence demonstrated through management of own attitude ABPI qualified (unless new to the representative role) Experience of formulary applications at trust level Strong NHS knowledge and understanding Shows initiative and is self-starting Strong results focus Full driving licence Desirable Skills/Experience: Degree qualified or equivalent Market Access experience of gaining product position on guidelines Knowledge of the customer and therapy area within area of responsibility At AstraZeneca, we are at the forefront of medical innovation.
