The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of evidence-based nursing care in designated area of work for patients presenting with long term conditions/minor ailments/injuries; and the provision of preventative health care. As an autonomous practitioner the nurse is responsible for the care delivered demonstrating critical thinking and skills in clinical decision-making in the management of patients. To be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment/care You ideally will hold paediatric qualification or have experience of assessing and treating children and the under 1yrs and/or willingness to undergo appropriate training in the first 6months in post. You will ideally have previous experience of telephone triage of patients. Demonstrate and take an active part in the training, development and support of the junior practitioners within the service.
