Warehouse Operatives that have the ability to function well as part of a team. You must have very effective organisational and communication skills and a flexible approach to work. Minimum of 1 years’ experience of working within a Warehouse environment. Fork Lift Truck Certificate, Counterbalance, Pivot, Flexi/Bendi trucks is an advantage. The ability to multi‐task and work in a fast paced environment. Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with Customers and Co‐Workers. Ensuring a high standard of hygiene at all times, clean as you go work ethic (damages, spillages and general hygiene are maintained at all times)
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 1 years’ experience of working within a Warehouse environment
2. Fork Lift Truck Certificate, Counterbalance, Pivot, Flexi/Bendi trucks – Desirable: (MEWP) Scissor Lift Certificate
3. Must be able to work as assigned in either office or warehouse environments
4. Professional in appearance
5. Diligent attention to detail and attention to safety of themselves and others around the workplace
6. Ability to multi‐task and work in a fast paced environment
7. Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with Customers and Co‐Workers
8. Highly organised, self-sufficient and able to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines
9. Flexible in approach to work and adaptable to fit into different teams and environments
10. Confident and approachable
11. Chemical and Manual Handling Trained Desirable but not essential as training will be given
12. Must hold a full UK driving licence and have own transportation to work

13. Customer Service – Accuracy of stock levels when picking orders – 98%
14. Quality – Ensure product is loaded correctly and safely for transit – 99%
15. Cost – Ensure safe storage and loading to eradicate breakages – 1%
Key Accountabilities:
Customer Service
Ensure effective and efficient running of the warehouse function and customer satisfaction by:
16. Taking delivery of goods and supplies
17. Storing of goods
18. Picking of goods
19. Preparation of stock
20. Loading of stock by hand, pump truck or forklift
21. Keep accurate records of stocks
22. Assisting with stock taking as and when required
23. Keeping warehouse and work area clean and tidy through use of chemicals and non hazardous equipment
24. Use of the correct methods for manual handling
25. Use of automatic wrapper to correct procedure
26. Completion of relevant paperwork
27. Correct completion of the picking and unloading paperwork and IT based systems
28. Ensuring cleanliness of stock and warehouse (this includes cleaning spillages and damages as they happen or on discovery)
Communication
29. Contact internal customers to resolve any queries or problem that may arise with paperwork
30. Responding to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone
Teamwork
31. Encouraging teamwork within the workplace by displaying the correct behaviours towards all members of the Knowles Transport Ltd teams
32. Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stock such as chemicals and food are stored safely and securely and reporting of any concerns or near misses to the Site Manager
