Responsibilities:
- Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
- Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
- Taking and developing dental x-rays
- Providing oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Taking impressions of patients' teeth for study models
- Performing basic laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming models
- Scheduling patient appointments and managing patient records
- Providing support to the front desk as needed
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using dental software and computer systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Note: Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of dentistry.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour
