Who are we looking for?
We are looking for passionate individuals who are committed to inspiring the next generation of learners in their foundation level GCSE Maths studies. As a Maths Course Leader at BSDC, you’ll have the opportunity to be a role model, helping students unlock their full potential and achieve what they once thought impossible.
We're seeking an energetic and driven professional to lead innovative, effective lessons that support learners in reaching their goals. You’ll play a key role in re-engaging learners who have previously become disconnected from the subject, helping them build confidence and reignite their passion for learning. By creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment, you'll guide students towards success and celebrate their achievements.
At BSDC, we are proud of our dedicated maths and English team, who work collaboratively to provide learners with access to a diverse range of learning resources and additional support, both inside and outside the classroom.
We are committed to creating a professional, friendly, and inclusive environment. If you share our ethos of excellence, innovation, and collaboration, we would love to hear from you.
No prior teacher training? No problem.
BSDC offers full support to help you become a qualified teacher, with the potential to receive an FE initial teacher education (ITE) bursary for your pre-service training in mathematics. For more details on eligibility and the application process for the FE ITE bursaries, visit www.gov.uk.
Applicants should be qualified to Level 2 English and Maths. Proof of qualifications will be required.
