About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Sales Representative, responsible for promoting and growing the sales of Sanger Sequencing, qPCR, and digital PCR workflow solutions in North West England, Midlands, and Wales. The successful candidate will work closely with Account Managers, Inside Sales, and Fisher Scientific sales force to drive revenue growth and market share for the Thermo Fisher Life Science Solution Group. Key activities will include:
* Regular sales visits to existing and new customers
* Territory planning and analysis to identify opportunities for growth
* Monitoring sales performance and providing accurate forecasting
* Organizing scientific seminars and conferences to showcase our products and expertise
* Establishing strategic business plans in line with local managers' objectives
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
1. A Master's degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences
2. 2+ years of sales experience in the Life Sciences industry (ideally)
3. Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
4. Process-oriented with attention to detail and ability to work independently
5. Collaborative style with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
