About the Role
AQA is seeking an experienced Test Manager to join our team. As a key member of our software development lifecycle, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of testers in planning, resourcing, and delivering test activities to time and quality.
* Track and report test delivery and progress, identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
* Mentor and coach team members to achieve personal and professional development.
* Drive the continuous improvement of team processes and ways of working.
* Ensure a delivery-focused approach to testing while maintaining a proportionate balance between quality and delivery.
Requirements
* Significant experience as a successful Test professional with evidence of delivering tasks at a high level of quality.
* Experience of leading functional and non-functional testing teams, including the use of automation.
* Demonstrable experience in successfully leading small software solutions teams.
* Experience of line managing teams of technical staff, including active performance management.
