Havas Play are looking for a Senior Culture Director to join the team on a Fixed Term Contract until the end of July 2025.
Role Summary
As the Senior Culture Director on the Activation Team at Havas Play, you'll play a key role in the Talent, Creator, and Influencer team. You will also drive the growth of opportunities for the team both internally and externally.
The Senior Culture Director is tasked with creating and executing talent, creator, and influencer marketing strategies for a diverse roster of clients, as well as exploring new business opportunities. This senior role involves close collaboration with creative, strategy, and account management teams to bring brand stories to life through impactful partnerships with talent, influencers, creators, and communities.
Purpose of Role
This unique role within the Talent, Creator, and Influencer Marketing team involves working closely with strategy, creative, and social teams, as well as the wider HKX agencies. You will manage a diverse client roster and proactively seek growth opportunities both within HKX and externally. Your responsibilities include fostering innovative collaborations with influential artists, talent, influencers, creators, subcultures, and communities, and playing a key role in expanding the Talent, Influencer, and Creator offering.
Key Responsibilities
Senior Leadership:
* Develop and execute strategic and creative talent, creator, and influencer programs for clients' brands and brand portfolios, providing trusted guidance.
* Plan, create, and deliver top-tier talent, creator, and influencer programs across the client base.
* Share extensive knowledge of the sports and culture landscape, including networks, trends, insights, and social media.
* Demonstrate expertise in cultural territories relevant to Havas Play clients (e.g., sports, music, gaming, film) and leverage networks within these areas to facilitate relevant collaborations.
* Collaborate with senior Activation team members to ensure an efficient and profitable function with a unified team mentality.
* Offer senior counsel to clients and internal teams, addressing challenges with informed insights and delivering exceptional work.
* Maintain a robust network of contacts to enhance client work and agency offerings.
* Identify partnership opportunities with key opinion leaders and influential figures in culture, spanning sports, fashion, art, gaming, and music.
* Act as a strategic connector and brand guardian, understanding and engaging with various subcultures, communities, and partners.
* Elevate your external profile as an industry leader in talent, creator, influencer, and culture marketing.
New Business:
* Lead, deliver, and win full pitches, collaborating effectively with Strategy & Creative Teams to build strong relationships with prospective clients.
* Engage confidently with clients, identifying potential growth areas and driving new revenue by spotting and developing new Talent, Influencer, and Creator opportunities.
* Explore internal and external opportunities to cross-sell other Havas Play capabilities (e.g., Social, Partnerships, PR, Production) and promote other Havas agency specialisms.
* Actively create new business opportunities and promote Havas Play through networking and consistent outreach.
* Utilise the Meaningful Brands in Culture proprietary tool, methodology, and proposition to identify opportunities with prospective clients.
* Connect with peers in HVL and Havas Network agencies to drive cross-agency new business opportunities and participate in co-pitches.
Business:
* Contribute proactively to the agency's vision and business plans as a senior management team member.
* Be responsible and accountable for your client growth plan, ensuring targets are met (stretch and new income).
* Provide accurate and timely reporting and forecasting to the CEO, CFO, and other relevant parties.
* Work closely with account leads to ensure day-to-day financial management processes are completed according to agency procedures.
* Contribute to the profitability of the Talent, Creator, and Influencer marketing team and the overall agency.
