Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support to the pharmacy team in the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medications. Carry out clinical checks and ensure the safe and accurate delivery of medicines to patients. Assist with stock management, including ordering, storing, and managing medication supplies. Participate in the supply and dispensing of controlled drugs in accordance with NHS guidelines. Ensure the accurate maintenance of patient medication records and pharmacy inventory. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care. Provide support with audits, stock rotation, and quality control activities. Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent qualification) – essential. Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in an NHS hospital setting (desirable). Strong knowledge of NHS pharmacy procedures and protocols. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
