St. David’s College is a popular and over-subscribed Sixth Form College providing high quality education for 16-19 year olds within Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. In our 2019 Estyn inspection we achieved an ‘excellent’ grade in inspection area one for standards, and in inspection area five for leadership and management.
Governors seek to appoint a highly enthusiastic teacher of ‘AS’/ ‘A’ Level Biology for September 2025. We are looking for a teacher who will promote learner-focused, engaging and innovative practices to ensure all learners reach their full potential. Teachers should have the ability to prepare post-16 students for the demands of their future study or employment. Applications from NQTs and experienced teachers are invited.

The position is offered as a permanent, full time role. It attracts a salary of between £32,303.71 - £49,934.18 depending on experience.
Candidates shortlisted for interview will be expected to teach a micro-lesson as part of the selection process.

The College operates a Sixth Form College academic year and therefore the Autumn Term begins in late August to allow for enrolment activities.
