Synergy Personnel are currently recruiting for a Contracts manager for our Client based in Swindon, As Contracts Manager, you will be managing the full lifecycle of contracts from pre-construction to practical completion and handover. Collaborating with the client, commercial teams and consultants you will oversee all aspects of Contract Management on multiple contracts simultaneously to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with the company’s best practice, procedures, H&S and statutory requirements. Day-to-day Contract Management duties include the following: • Preparing construction programmes. • Procurement of Subcontractors. • Contract Negotiation and notices. • Risk Management. • Supply chain & sub-contractor management. • Issuing progress reports & attending progress meetings. • Change control and cost management. • Ensuring quality control & best practice. • Preparing RAMS, Construction phase plans and H&S documentation With at least 5 years’ experience as a Contracts Manager, you will have natural leadership skills, a real commercial awareness, excellent communication/ negotiation skills, analytical/ problem-solving abilities, as well as being able to prioritise tasks effectively, under pressure. With strong Contract Administration skills, you will be confident in Contract Management software and Microsoft Office applications. You will have a construction related degree, such as Construction Management, Business Management, Construction Project Management, and an understanding of contract law, construction contracts, procurement processes.
