The Role
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Senior Design Engineer will be a key member of the up-front solutions design team and will be responsible for developing, designing, and implementing advanced robotic systems for industry-leading automation projects.
This position involves overseeing the full design process, from conceptualization to prototyping, testing, and final integration, while ensuring the systems meet performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness standards.
The Person
With a proven background in Process Design, Automation & Robotic solutions, the Senior Design Engineer will require strong problem-solving skills, up-to-date knowledge of automation technologies, and a strategic mindset to anticipate industry trends and contribute to the continuous improvement of robotic systems.
As a Senior Design Engineer, you must also stay abreast of emerging innovations in machine vision and autonomous systems to drive next-generation automation solutions, ideally with a sound understanding and experience of the Automotive Manufacturing Engineering sector.
