Your role in elevating the East Midlands
As a Procurement Support Officer, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and management of procurement documentation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with public sector procurement regulations. You will help drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations and policies.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the procurement process from a social value perspective.
2. Maintaining and updating procurement records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
3. Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve procurement-related queries and issues.
4. Providing support to the procurement team, including preparing reports and managing correspondence.
5. Assisting in the development and implementation of procurement initiatives.
6. Identification of opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and performance.
Your profile:
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work. Willing and keen to attend required training programs to enhance job performance, stay updated with industry standards and develop their career.
