The Role
The successful candidates will play a key role in delivering strategic employment law advice across a broad range of areas, including:
1. Complex employment tribunal claims
2. Business restructures, redundancies, and cross-border employment matters
3. Executive-level employment issues, including senior-level recruitment, termination, compensation arrangements, and restrictive covenants
4. High Court litigation and team move disputes
5. Employment law aspects of corporate transactions, including M&A and outsourcing
This role offers the chance to work on high-profile projects with leading national and international clients, often involving multi-jurisdictional considerations.
The Candidate
The ideal candidates will have:
6. At least 2 years’ PQE in employment law, gained in a commercial law firm
7. Strong technical and market knowledge in employment law, with experience in strategic advisory work and complex disputes
8. A commercially aware and solutions-focused approach to client matters
9. The ability to build strong client relationships and contribute to business development
10. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a proactive approach to working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment
Experience in High Court litigation and corporate transactional employment work would be advantageous but is not essential.
