Are you an Energy Specialist looking to join a growing Infrastructure & Energy team? We have an exciting and varied Energy role for an experienced proactive individual who has strong negotiation skills and industry knowledge who will lead on the identification, negotiation, acquisition and development of energy projects across the UK. Our services include Land Assembly, Grid Consultancy, Planning & Consenting, Energy Brokerage, Asset Management, Development Consultancy, Valuation & Due Diligence and Agency & Investment.

Main tasks:
1. Identifying sites, landowners, and infrastructure routes.
2. Screening of potential energy development sites and advising on opportunities.
3. Grid connection screening and advisory.
4. Preparation of feasibility studies and options appraisals.
5. Stakeholder management and coordination of planning applications.
6. Drafting and negotiating heads of terms, and option & lease agreements.
7. Managing and coaching junior members of the team.
8. Attending industry events & drafting press articles and publications to promote and develop business.
What will it take to be successful?
We are looking for an Energy Specialist with experience of advising and managing clients across multiple projects, with a sound knowledge of energy technologies and the various technical and environmental constraints, and relevant landowner and developer negotiation experience. The chosen person will have excellent project management and people management skills. Strong communication skills both written and verbal, strong leadership and line management skills are required. You will hold a full clean driving licence.
