Working Week The Sussex Exchange has been undergoing substantial refurbishment and it's contemporary bar and restaurant are a great place to learn what's involved in supporting a variety of different events e.g. business breakfasts / lunches, private parties, functions (e.g. weddings), lunches, dinners and special occasion events e.g. Christmas parties, Christmas Day, New Years' Eve etc., plus looking after guests who are attending our luxurious in-house cinema. The successful applicants will be involved in a variety of activities including: Setting up rooms for events Laying up tables ready for service Building relationships with customers and clients Serving customers Taking food and drink orders Taking bookings via the 'phone and face-to-face Taking payments from customers Ensuring the area you're looking after is clean and tidy Serving at the bar (18 only) Supporting additional events, e.g. weddings East Sussex College are the Training Provider for this Apprenticeship. Full training will be given. Working Week To start with you will be working 20 - 25 hrs per week with the potential for more hours. Working hours will be between the following hours depending on what events are taking place.
