About The Opportunity
ARE YOU A MOSOVO trained PC or DC?
Staffordshire Police are currently expanding the MOSOVO team. We have up and coming vacancies at our sites throughout Staffordshire.
‘MOSOVO’ is the management of Sexual or Violent offenders. Only Registered Sex Offenders and some of the most violent offenders in society qualify for this management. The robust management of these individuals genuinely helps to ensure that Staffordshire is a safer place to live and visit.
These offenders will be managed in a number of ways including, but not limited to:
* Arrest and prosecution
* Unannounced home visits
* The use of civil orders such as Sexual Harm Prevention Orders (SHPO), Sexual Risk Orders (SRO), Violent Offender Orders (VOO) and Serious and Organised Crime Prevention Orders (SOCPO).
* Working with a range of partners to reduce the risk of reoffending.
The team has a number of experienced members, which are a great support when entering into a role which is as unique and specialist at MOSOVO.
If you feel that you have the skills and qualities to offer and can make a difference to the people of Staffordshire we would like to hear from you.
To apply to transfer to Staffordshire as a Police Constable or Detective Constable you must be substantive at the rank you are applying for and have completed and passed your probationary period.
