Reporting to the Contract Manager the Multi Skilled General Operative will be responsible for undertaking various planned and reactive maintenance tasks. The individual will work as part of the mobile maintenance team and will need to be able to complete tasks to a high quality standard and in a timely manner in line with SLA/KPI’s. Ideally the individual would have experience in Joinery / Plumbing /Decorating. This is a mobile position covering Yorkshire with the majority of work in the Bradford, Leeds and Sheffield areas.

Multi Skilled Operative will :
1. Work alongside existing members of the team assisting electricians, plumbers, air conditioning engineers when required.
2. Undertake a range of maintenance repairs including installation of building fabric fixtures & fittings, decorating repairs, replacing ceiling tiles, lamps, replacing sanitary ware, general building fabric tasks.
3. Complete point of work risk assessments and Safe methods of work (Training will be provided)
4. Ensure all works are completed efficiently to a high standard.
5. Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered to.
6. Use your own initiative to solve problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support as required
7. Carry out PPM works as per the contract SLA/KPI’s.
8. Update the Helpdesk on progress of works and request time extensions as required.
9. Liaise closely with our control hub to ensure efficient response to all works, either working on your own or as part of a team.
10. Provide detailed write-ups/PDA reports of works carried out to ensure that both the GFM & clients CAFM system is kept up to date at all times
11. Provide exceptional maintenance services to our high profile client and go the extra mile to deliver to the highest quality standards in all areas
12. Deal with a variety of Clients/Customers on a daily basis
13. Keep accurate time reports on all tasks completed.

About You
Essential Criteria
14. Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience preferably within the facilities maintenance or construction industry
15. Demonstrate a sound general knowledge of multiple building and mechanical services
16. Full Driver’s License
Desirable Criteria
17. CSCS card or other recognised Safety training
18. Recognised Health & Safety training
19. PASMA
20. Manual Handling training
21. Experience in Joinery / Plumbing / Decorating
