Job description
Our Operational Leaders will be:
1. Providing visible leadership, coaching and support for their team - role modelling positive behaviours to ensure teams deliver the highest quality of customer service, whilst also providing technical knowledge.
2. Managing a team – ensuring team performance, delivery and quality of service whilst effectively managing team dynamics and creating genuine team spirit.
3. Focusing on continuous improvement – supporting people working towards our goals & objectives.
4. Communicating and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders across a range of settings.
5. Providing great customer service - dealing with enquiries and complaints to ensure the Companies Register is accurate and up to date.
6. Some of the roles involve the development of enforcement cases, including providing specialist oversight to identify new and emerging threats.
Person specification
We’re looking for an Operational leader who has:
1. Excellent leadership skills – involving and engaging others to ensure high performance and effective delivery of our vision and strategy.
2. Great communication skills - with the ability to convey messages clearly verbally and in writing.
3. The ability to build capability in teams – to meet current and future skill requirements.
4. The ability to deliver and improve operational performance - displaying enthusiastic and passionate behaviour to deliver a balance between best-in-class customer service whilst supporting improving the integrity of information on the register.
5. Confidence - dealing with a range of stakeholders and senior leaders, using strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
6. Resilience - responding positively to challenge and having the ability to adapt your communication style to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
