SweetTree Home Care Services is looking for a dedicated Learning Disability Support Worker to join our Award-Winning team. If you're an experienced Support Worker with a deep understanding of individuals' needs and the importance of person-centred care, we want to hear from you. Your hands-on experience and commitment to making a difference in people's lives are what set you apart. Our client is a friendly and energetic young person who builds good relationships with others. He has a diagnosis of Severe Learning Disabilities and Autism, and his approach to initiating and socially interacting with others is different from that expected of a typically developing young person. When there is miscommunication, this could lead to frustration or boredom on the client's part and result in behaviours of concern. Our client enjoys climbing, jumping, and is generally very active. He likes to engage in sensory play and feels most comfortable when he has a predictable routine.
