Practical experience in managing mechanical and electrical scopes on building projects (main contractor experience is a bonus). Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams. A hands-on, proactive approach to solving problems and keeping things moving. Flexibility to travel to different sites as required, along with a clean driving license. Solid understanding of HVAC, fire alarm, lighting/emergency systems, LTHW systems, gas installations, BMS interfaces, electrical distribution, access/maintenance planning, and integrated systems commissioning. As a MEP Coordinator: Support Project and Contracts Managers in delivering M&E works on large-scale building projects (€3m–€20m). Act as the main point of contact for M&E subcontractors and design teams, resolving queries and ensuring smooth coordination. Lead MEP meetings, track progress, and manage design adjustments, submittals, and RFIs. Oversee commissioning progress, snagging, and compliance with BCAR requirements. Coordinate BIM activities and produce builders' works drawings as needed. Monitor safety-critical installations, ensuring compliance with approved methods and safety standards. Proactively address issues, keep programmes on track, and maintain clear communication across teams.
