We are seeking a proactive and experienced Lead Customer Experience Coordinator to join the Place & Growth Directorate. Working within the Directorates newly created Business Unit, this role will be crucial in ensuring that customer needs drive the design of our services, enhancing the overall customer experience across all channels and working closely with the Council’s Customer Experience team to embed the One Council Customer Strategy.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Lead Customer Experience Coordinator to join the Place & Growth Directorate. Working within the Directorates newly created Business Unit, this role will be crucial in ensuring that customer needs drive the design of our services, enhancing the overall customer experience across all channels and working closely with the Council’s Customer Experience team to embed the One Council Customer Strategy.
You will have political awareness, and excellent organisational, written, oral and presentation skills. You will support Senior Council Officers in the preparation of high-quality responses to complex and statutory enquiries from the public, Members, MPs, and other key stakeholders and regulators, and be required to find innovative solutions to challenges.
You will be adept at interpreting data and information to identify opportunities for improvements, and developing strategies for the Directorate to improve customer satisfaction.
The role is designated as hybrid, you will be required to travel to various locations across the Borough to work with different teams. A flexible approach to your working pattern will be necessary to include being available in the evening as needed.
