Southwark Council is looking for a Parks Officer to oversee the maintenance, development, and improvement of Burgess Park, one of our award-winning and diverse green spaces located in the heart of the borough. This is a key role that requires energy, vision, and commitment to ensure our parks remain exceptional. You'll work to: Monitor the grounds maintenance contract for Burgess Park, ensuring high standards of care. Collaborate with council teams and contractors to manage trees, biodiversity, and other environmental assets. Support Southwark's response to the biodiversity crisis and climate emergency. Drive innovation and improvements across our green spaces.
