This role calls for someone with a nurturing demeanor, ready to provide crucial one-on-one support to students facing challenges such as Autism, ASD, ADHD, Behavioural Issues, and Social & Emotional Needs.
Role Overview:
- Implementing effective behaviour management strategies.
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborating closely with classroom teachers to support a stimulating learning environment tailored to the needs of children with SEN, including ASD and ADHD.
- Setting and closely monitoring individual targets to facilitate appropriate learning outcomes.
Ideal Candidate:
- Is adaptable and capable of fulfilling various classroom roles, both indoors and outdoors, based on individual student requirements.
- Demonstrates a responsive and caring approach in their interactions.
- Ideally has previous experience working with special educational needs; however, candidates from an educational background are encouraged to apply.
- Can establish effective relationships with both staff and pupils to foster a supportive learning environment.
