As an Account Manager for the Medical division, you will play a key role in proactively selling our Medical Portfolio. Our focus is on being specialists in acute care, with a mission to improve clinical outcomes, manage costs, enhance patient experiences, and ensure staff satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Achieving the quarterly and annual objectives set for your region, both quantitatively and qualitatively.
* Developing Territory and Account Plans with short-, medium-, and long-term goals that align with the company’s go-to-market strategy to maximise business potential.
* Ensuring that all customers are supported by your district team and the wider organisation.
* Maintaining regular communication with the district team to optimise workflows, maximise business potential, and efficiently utilise resources.
* Collaborating with Clinical Application Specialists to drive sales across the broader product portfolio.
* Proactively identifying and developing new sales opportunities, keeping a strong and consistent sales funnel.
* Discussing, positioning, and demonstrating our medical products based on customer needs.
* Building relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to enhance therapy development and improve clinical outcomes.
* Nurturing relationships with key contacts in accounts from a commercial standpoint.
* Recording customer interactions within the CRM system to maintain accurate records.
* Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate trials, installations, and ongoing support for product protection and development.
* Partnering with Marketing Managers to leverage product benefits for the go-to-market strategy.
* Keeping your training up to date and attending necessary sessions to maintain product knowledge.
* Shadowing colleagues for personal development and assisting them when necessary.
* Travel may be required across the UK, Ireland, and occasionally overseas, to support the business needs.
* Maintaining an accurate, team-visible schedule.
* Completing administration and expense reports in a timely manner.
What We’re Looking For:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent industry experience.
* Strong sales experience within a relevant market is highly desirable.
* Skilled presenter with strong interpersonal communication abilities.
* Excellent organisational, time management, and planning skills.
* Ability to conduct needs analysis and engage in solution selling.
* Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
* Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, creative thinking, and adaptability.
* A team player who collaborates effectively with others.
* Ability to work on time-sensitive projects, meeting deadlines for reporting and expenses.
* Capacity to work within an allocated budget.
* Personal residence should be within the designated region.
* Compliance with the Integrated Management System (IMS) and minimising environmental impact in your role.
