Exams Officer Full Time, Permanent £28,325 - £30,378 per annum including London Weighting Allowance We are seeking an ambitious, outstanding candidate to join our teaching staff at United Colleges Group as an Exams Officer. UCG attracts students from across London and beyond. Our students come from a diverse range of backgrounds. In the academic year 2022-23, we enrolled more than 3500 full time 16-18 students, 8,000 adult learners and over 450 apprentices across our Group. UCG currently enrol 250 HE students per year, across 4 campuses onto 12 courses from STEM subjects (Science, Construction, Engineering, and Computing) to Business, Music and Professional Qualifications. We have around 1,000 dedicated, skilled and enthusiastic staff who always put the needs of our students first and we are now looking for a Exams Officer to join our cohort of dedicated staff. About You We are seeking to appoint a keen, enthusiastic, conscientious, and proactive individual as an Examinations Officer to join a vibrant Examinations Team. Your responsibilities will include examination registrations/entries with variety of awarding bodies as well as providing administrative support within the Exams Team. To be considered for this role, it is essential that you can demonstrate experience of working in a busy administration or examinations office. It is also essential that you have good organisational skills; in particular, you will be effective in planning and prioritising a heavy workload and meeting conflicting deadlines. Successful candidates will have careful attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with a broad range of people that includes awarding bodies, students and staff. We are looking for a strong team player, someone with a flexible approach to their work and who is willing to help out where needed. It is also essential that you are committed to raising standards within the service.
