The Workshop Controller role: As a Workshop Controller, you will be instrumental in the smooth and efficient running of the workshop, focusing on training, productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will ensure the highest standards are met and maintained by overseeing key functions, including: Identifying training needs for Vehicle Technicians to enhance skill sets Ensuring workshop productivity meets targets with an emphasis on time management Promoting and ensuring excellent customer service Maintaining and servicing workshop machinery and tools to uphold a professional environment Instilling a "right first time" approach within the team Offering technical support when required, including training and MOT preparation Ensuring accurate recording and invoicing through team compliance with processes Leading by example in workshop housekeeping and security Liaising with the Service Department to keep customers informed and address any concerns Toyota is the highest ranked Automotive Brand in the world and spends more on R&D than any other company, leading the way in Hybrid engine technology and innovation.
