M&E Shift Maintenance Engineer
£45,000 + £2500 annual bonus

Our Client is looking for a M&E Shift Maintenance Engineer to based at a Luxurious Residential Complex located in Knightsbridge. The successful candidates will be Electrically or Mechanical biased with a proven track record in Commercial and Residential Building Maintenance, ideally within High End Residential. Working with the maintenance team on site, you will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance within the complex. In return the company are offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000, £2500 bonus, overtime, further training and career progression.

Responsibilities:
8. To carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with the company’s PPM and task schedules as directed by the site supervisor.
9. To undertake PPM activities in a professional & safe manner
10. Undertake reactive maintenance works as directed by the Help Desk and/or Management Team
11. Production of technical and situational reports as required
12. To communicate clearly and effectively with the client’s team and support the Site Supervisor as necessary
13. To ensure company QA and site procedures are adhered to in all aspects.
14. Proactively assist the site supervisor to produce quotations by giving accurate and good quality information when extra works are identified
15. To update/close completed Reactive & PPM tasks on the site CAFM System
16. Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximise efficient operation and reliability of plant and associated systems.
17. To ensure that both Client and contractors Health & Safety procedures are always followed.
18. Attend team meetings/briefings as requested
19. To provide accurate timesheet information weekly and on time
20. To proactively work towards the continued success of the business with a positive approach
21. To escalate any major site issues or incidents to the site supervisor asap once identified
22. To manage sub-contractors whilst working on site
23. Respond to Building Management System alarms, and effect emergency repairs as needed
24. To issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work Systems.
25. Deputise in the absence of Shift Leader
Requirements:
26. City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 (Mechanical & Electrical installation) or recognised equivalent
27. 17th or 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (IEE) Registration or Recognised equivalent
28. Approved apprenticeship or appropriate experience within Building Services
29. Experienced in Electrical Installation including Electrical Testing & Inspection
30. L8 Training and a good understanding of domestic water systems Experience
31. Two years’ experience gained within a multi-discipline hard services environment
32. A good working knowledge of trades such as plumbing, HVAC systems, controls, and refrigeration
33. Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge
34. Experience in managing PPM management systems
35. Experience in fault diagnosis and rectification
36. Two years’ experience gained within a multi-discipline hard services environment within high-end commercial/mixed developments
