Location: Weymouth
Salary: Up to £34,857 inc of sleeps
Working Hour:39 hours per week
Number of Sleeps Required: 8 to 10 per month
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: One child aged 7–12 on admission

Who we are looking for…
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Residential Team Leader to join a solo placement home for one child aged 7–12 in Weymouth. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and loving environment where the child can flourish. Strong leadership skills and experience working with children who have experienced trauma are essential.
You will be responsible for supporting the child’s daily routines, attending appointments, assisting with education, completing household tasks, and maintaining accurate records. As a Team Leader, you will also mentor and develop newer team members, contributing to a positive and supportive team culture.

Requirements:
* Qualifications: QCF Level 3/4 in Children and Young People or Residential Childcare (essential).
* Experience: Previous experience working with looked-after children (LAC) in a residential setting.
* Skills: Strong written and IT skills, excellent communication, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
* Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required.
* Commitment to Development: Ongoing learning a CPD
