We have an exciting opportunity for a Fixed Term, Part Time (29 hrs p/w), Customer Support Assistant to join Southampton City Council (SCC) in the Culture and Tourism Team/Service.
About the team:
We are a small friendly team within the wider Culture and Tourism department providing customer and administrative support to three Cultural Venues in Southampton – SeaCity, Tudor House and Garden and Southampton City Art Gallery.
About the role:
This role provides excellent customer service over the phone, email and website. It also administrates the booking system, payments and invoices.
1. Replying to enquiries about exhibitions and events.
2. Raising Purchase Orders and Invoices.
3. Updating our booking systems and website with upcoming events.
4. Reporting from the booking system.
You will have:
1. Good administrative skills and experience.
2. Outstanding customer service skills.
3. Excellent written and verbal interpersonal/communication skills.
4. A good level of IT literacy to be able to use self-service, digital user platforms and applications and MS Office packages.
