Financial Accountant Location: Paisley (Hybrid between home and Paisley office) Hours: 35 per week Contract type: Permanent Salary: £44,680 - £50,000 per annum Are you an accountant who would love to make an impact within our global humanitarian organisation, contributing to supporting our humanitarian efforts? In this dynamic and challenging role, you will provide guidance on accounting and tax issues, as well as overseeing the British Red Cross' external tax and financial reporting. What does the role of Financial Accountant involve? As part of a team, you will strive to achieve a high level of accuracy and completeness maintaining the integrity of financial data and reporting. Promoting strict compliance to internal financial policies and external regulatory governing bodies. Your contributions will be critical to the organisation’s operations and consequently, vital to the lives of those in crisis who we support. What do you need to be a successful Financial Accountant? Accountant (or qualified by experience) with sound knowledge of charity SORP and accounting standards, practices and law. Solid background in corporate financial accounting management and good working knowledge of tax services and gift aid. Strong data analysis and strategic thinking skills. A keen eye for detail, with problem-solving, decision making and data analysis skills. The closing date for your application is Thursday 19th September 2024.
