Established for over 30 years, they have provided services alongside a variety of statutory and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) colleagues in Surrey and its borders. They are currently looking for an experienced Mental Health Support Worker to work within their new support facility called Safe Harbour in Woking.
Salary: £28,938
Hours: 35 hours per week (will consider full time and part time hours, working hours / pattern to be discussed but will include weekends on a rota basis)

Location: Woking
The Safe Harbour provision in Woking is a new mental health support facility. It offers a 6 week referral only non-clinical service from 9am – 6pm, 365 days a year for those aged 18 and over.
The aim of the Safe Harbour is to provide service users with a programme of support and psycho-social education tailored around an individual’s circumstances and needs as identified in their support plan which: Reduces the frequency and severity of mental health crises these users may experience and provides them with alternative strategies for de-escalation when they do reach crisis.
This post is subject to a DBS check. Please note past drug and/or alcohol or criminality history will not necessarily discount you from undertaking this role.
Our ideal applicant will have/be:
1. Experience working within the mental health field is essential.
2. Experience of group work is desirable but not essential.
3. Knowledge of safeguarding legislation.
4. Experience delivering person centred interventions relating to mental health.
5. Confidence to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
6. Robust professional boundaries.
