As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with Project Managers to ensure the timely, within-budget delivery of projects while upholding our company's policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assisting in the preparation and submission of tenders with precision
2. Developing and maintaining commercial documents
3. Ensuring accurate data entry and maintenance of the commercial tracker
4. Collaborating in the formulation and coordination of comprehensive project plans, schedules, and overseeing activities, progress, and milestones
5. Contributing to essential project management tasks, including progress monitoring, procedure preparation, documenting communications, and identifying and evaluating project challenges
6. Building professional relationships with our clients, providing consistent updates, and preparing progress reports
7. Preparing project programmes and management of project delivery timescales for engineering labour and materials
8. Financial reporting including cost monitoring and spend forecasting of labour and materials
About You
To thrive in this role, you'll need the following attributes and qualifications:
1. Full UK Driving License
2. Familiarity with Project Management processes and risk assessment
3. Skill in preparing comprehensive monthly progress reports
4. Organised, focused and self-determined
5. Flexibility to adapt to business demands
6. Active and effective communication abilities with management, colleagues, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
