The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Finance, you will be responsible for all aspects of finance for our Selby Rice Mill, as well as having the opportunity to be involved with our other manufacturing sites and business wide manufacturing projects. This is a varied and interesting role, which plays a pivotal role as part of the Selby site management team. Whilst you will primarily be focused on monitoring and reporting factory financial performance, you will also have the opportunity to be involved in key activities such as the procurement and logistics of rice raw materials. An important part of the role is costing new tenders, working closely with our Commercial team to build great relationships across the business.
You will also assist in delivering complete and accurate period and year end reporting, along with accurate and robust budgets and forecasts. In addition to this, you will analyse site expenditure, and support capital investment proposals, providing decision making support across all areas of the rice supply chain. The ability to constructively challenge and generate insight, as well as drawing conclusions and making recommendations are also integral to this role.
Who are we looking for?
You will be professionally qualified (CIMA or ACCA preferred) with a demonstrable track record of delivery in a Finance business partnering role. Knowledge of manufacturing finance is highly desirable. You will support this with excellent communication and inter-personal skills, whilst being able to evidence a logical and astute approach to solving business problems, along with the drive, influence and resilience to implement change where necessary.
