Your New Role You'll be part of the London Broadcast Graphics team to build and innovate across our real time graphics systems for all our EMEA channels. Automation is our main focus with various special projects that will appear from time to time. We work mostly with JavaScript and occasionally with Python and Visual Basic. We are on a continual path of change and innovation, and we are looking for someone who will enjoy the ride. You will be involved from the beginning phases with interpreting design documents and files from the motion graphics or design teams. Development of production ready templates from these designs would be your prime focus followed by rigorous testing with the wider teams. Lastly, documenting the workflows and creating instructional guides will round out your chief responsibilities. Thinking outside the box and coming up with unique solutions is highly desirable and an organised work ethic is critical. Your Role Accountabilities - Working with HTML based and dedicated graphics systems. - Converting static design files into automated and responsive graphics templates. - Animating graphical elements with code and keyframes. - Writing new code or modifying existing code to work with new and old graphic templates. - Handling testing, troubleshooting and investigating issues. - Problem solving around optimization and getting elements to work in real time. - Working with external and internal teams in design. I.T. & engineering. - Documenting workflows and writing instructional guides. - Assist the operational teams and regional stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience - Qualification and/or proven experience with JavaScript - Experience with HTML5, CSS and other web technologies - Outstanding communication skills - Ability to work under pressure to a tight deadline - Top class attention to detail and out-of-this-world organisational skills - Positive can-do attitude - Team player - Self-motivated problem solver Next steps : Please sumbit your porfolio and CV.
