We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a dynamic and innovative Teacher of English to join a successful, forward-thinking department to cover a period of maternity leave. English is taught throughout the school by a team of dedicated English Specialists and is very successful at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. (See department information for further detail on our successes.)
Within the English Department we value teamwork, commitment and a passion for Teaching and Learning. We also value the ability to communicate enthusiasm for our subject to students and colleagues alike. Our major concern is the nurturing of the individual child within a secure learning environment, while promoting independent learning and challenging each student to achieve their full potential.
The members of the English Department are extremely ambitious. We set very high standards for both our pupils and ourselves, and this is undoubtedly an ideal opportunity for the right applicant to build on our recent successes.
Applications from ECT’s are welcome.
