Senior Project Manager
Trevett Services has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading FM provider in Bristol.
You will play a vital part in overseeing capital projects from the design phase through to handover.
This is a full-time permanent role, paying up to £75,000 per annum in addition to a car allowance and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
* Lead major works projects, delivering project solutions to budget, time, and quality requirements.
* Manage matrix-managed project teams to deliver various project delivery solutions (e.g. as principal/prime contractor, management fee, or under traditional contracting or design and build arrangements) effectively utilizing in-house resources (white and blue collar) and subcontract arrangements as appropriate.
* Assume and assert commercial control over allocated projects to deliver identified margins.
* Work as part of a team to build on reputation, capability, and deliver efficiently to ensure the projects team maintains a strong project pipeline and develops new leads and clients.
* Take profit and loss responsibility for allocated projects.
* Own each project and delivery with a high degree of attention to design, construction, and financial detail.
* Create strategic, operational, and tactical programmes through a recognized process (usually identified by the client process e.g. RIBA plan of work) to demonstrate how projects will be delivered.
* Set and manage management and client expectations through clear communications centered around programme/construction programme, budget (internal/external), and the quality of services delivered during live projects until completion and post-completion assessment.
Essential Experience the Senior Project Manager Would Need:
* Fully understand CDM.
* Experience managing projects in a healthcare environment.
* Familiarity with the RIBA stages.
* Strong client-facing and customer service skills with the ability to cope with demanding and varied customer requirements.
* Track record of successful management and delivery of projects as well as experience in successful partnerships.
* Previous experience managing projects in a healthcare environment.
