Regional Sales Director Based: Remote UK (with 30-40% travel requirement across Europe) We have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Sales Director to join our DIS (Digital Identity and Security) team. As RSD, you'll lead a team that are responsible for all new business sales and business development B2B activities within the CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) space, across Europe. Key responsibilities On a day-to-day basis, you'll: Provide day-to-day management of multiple Regional Sales Managers & Inside Sales Reps in order to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed revenue goals.(7 direct reports) Provide strategy, mentorship, guidance, and skill development for your team. Coach the team on setting SMART goals, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting. Drive achievement of sales objectives including sales volume & new business development. Support the team by joining customer meetings. Ensure that sales goals and forecasts are consistent with the organisation's long-range strategic objectives. Regularly visit key existing partners/customers, and be actively involved in the recruitment of key new partners. Be responsible/accountable for hiring, training, and developing a highly effective sales team About you Ideally, you'll have: Demonstrable experience leading and managing sales teams A track record of coaching, mentoring and supporting sales teams with a strong emphasis on sales performance and sales management Demonstrable sales experience, with knowledge of CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) in a New Business selling role Proven ability to self-network and consistently win new business Demonstrable success in a quota driven and complex selling position Proven experience of consultative selling at C-suite level with the ability to present complex solutions The ability to manage time effectively in order to optimise sales activity Exceptional sales and communication skills and good writing and presentation skills The ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner Experience leading proposals and presenting RFPs and guiding POCs Familiarity with Enterprise Sales methodologies e.g. MEDDPICC Benefits at Thales We strive to create an environment where you can prioritise your wellbeing and have designed our benefits to give you the flexibility and power to do so.
