Your Role
Following an internal promotion, our operational site based in Bicester is looking to expand the team. We are seeking a dedicated Manager for our specialist Loan Pools service area. This key and exciting role involves ensuring the operational management of the team is fully delivered.Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies, maintaining audit trails for all workshop departments, and overseeing the timely provision and completion of all technical training.
Your Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a mutually supportive team, within and across BusinessStream/Functional boundaries, capable of delivering with emphasis onimprovement, communication, collaboration, co-operation and recognition.
* Deliver the Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as applicable to the keyprocesses whilst optimising available resources in the Workshop team andimproving the effectiveness and efficiency.
* Develop a Health and Safety culture within the team, ensuring the higheststandards of Health and Safety are maintained in the work area.
* Developand sustain agile/flexible team working in recognising and rewarding positive behaviourand the contribution of the team.
* Conduct daily Team briefs with all staff and weekly Team Briefs with TeamLeaders based on the K&N Defence model
* Monitor and ensure all training, especially mandated training requirements forthe BS is achieved in line with K&N
* Responsiblefor promoting a quality culture within the business.
* Manage Customer relationships at a Senior level.
* Identifymilestones and indicators to be used to measure and track the operationalperformance in order to measure the strategic value it creates.
Your Skills and Experiences
* Previousoperational management experience within a complex business which will involvechange projects including concurrent projects.
* Provenexperience in managing large teams of up to 50
* Excellentcommunication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; ability toclearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences including seniormanagement
* Confidence and gravitas to influence andchallenge at executive level.
* BudgetManagement
* Warehouse management systems would be advantageous
