Are you an experienced doctor looking for a Locum Consultant Anaesthetics position at a Hospital based in a stunning location? As the hospital returns back to normal elective operating post-COVID, our client is looking to appoint an individual to provide high quality care for both elective and emergency surgical patients.
The successful applicant should be comfortable anaesthetising for children, major colo-rectal, major orthopaedic, and obstetrics amongst others. The duties will consist of covering the main surgical specialties of general surgery, orthopaedics, ENT, oral surgery, urology, ophthalmology, gynaecology and obstetrics, and anaesthesia for invasive radiology and CT scanning. The hospital does not provide theatres for vascular, neuro, spinal surgery cardio-thoracics, and specialist paediatrics.
The post holder should have the following:
1. Primary Medical Degree and Royal College membership (FRCA), or equivalent.
2. Full GMC Registration with a license to practice at time of applying.
3. Depth and breadth of clinical experience in Anaesthesia and critical care medicine.
4. Experience in a special interest that will complement those existing in the department.
5. Ability to communicate effectively.
